Bullet Proof | Fiberglass Wall Armor
When protecting people and assets is of the utmost importance, property owners and operators turn to U.S. Bullet Proofing for bulletproof fiberglass panels. These ballistic fiberglass wall panels can be used to create armor that protects against a wide range of exterior threats.
About USFA Fiberglass Wall Armor
These USFA Wall Armor products are bullet-resistant fiberglass panels that feature a multi-ply laminated ballistic fiberglass material. This specific fiberglass material is ideal for use as wall armor because it is lightweight, easy to fabricate, and resistant to spall and ricochet. It also conforms to UL 752 standards.
We recommend bullet-resistant fiberglass for use in the construction of safe rooms, judges’ benches, and counter protection. The standard fiberglass size is a 4’ x 8’ sheet, with custom sizes available upon request.

USFA Fiberglass Wall Armor FAQs
1. How does a ballistic wall panel compare to alternate materials?
A ballistic wall panel is engineered to contain bullet impact. Highly customizable, ballistic fiberglass panels reduce ricochet hazards compared to alternatives like concrete, steel, and Kevlar. Ballistic wall panels are lightweight and modular in construction, making the installation process straightforward.
Decision-makers who want to keep their options open for architectural changes in the future often favor fiberglass ballistic panels, as alternative materials can be challenging to deconstruct.
2. What are the UL 752 standards for fiberglass panels?
UL 752 standards outline testing parameters for protection against injury when a person stands directly beyond a bullet-resistant barrier. If a product meets UL 752 standards, it indicates that the material does not allow complete bullet penetration, produce harmful spalling, or allow a traveling bullet to leave an opening large enough for the muzzle of a weapon to pass through.
3. What do the USFA Fiberglass Wall Armor protection levels signify?
USFA Fiberglass Wall Armor offerings follow UL 752 standards. These standards are divided into different levels to indicate the level of protection someone can expect after installing the solutions.
Lower levels on the scale indicate a lesser nominal thickness and weight to the fiberglass. USFA Fiberglass Wall Armor is available between levels one and eight. Lower-level materials are appropriate for handgun threats, while upper tiers better defend against consecutive ammunition rounds and .50 caliber rifles.
4. Are installation services necessary for USFA Fiberglass Wall Armor?
Traditional contractors can often install USFA Fiberglass Wall Armor due to its user-friendliness and versatility in different environments. U.S. Bullet Proofing does not offer installation assistance for ballistic fiberglass panels, but our representatives can recommend reputable contractors who have experience with traditional security doors and wall systems.
5. Where might USFA Fiberglass Wall Armor make sense to install?
U.S. Bullet Proofing recommends USFA Fiberglass Wall Armor for a diverse range of settings. It’s primarily installed near entry doors, windows, private offices, customer service stations, and in locations where only authorized personnel are permitted to enter. Our clients often use these solutions in public schools, government buildings, banks, military testing facilities, healthcare centers, courtrooms, and police stations.
